Why Not
I'm posting tonite because I'm bored basically. I wrote about 12 more poems in the past few days. I took a mini vacation to my brother's and wrote a few there too. It was great seeing him and my sister again. It's great knowing that people love you. I don't get to see them very much because gas costs so much. We went to a nice bar in south county St. Louis and my sister got totaled. I didn't drink that much because of my diabetes. I try to be good, really I do. Hopefully a few beers wont kill me. Something's got to tho because I'm too damn mean to die of natural causes. Maybe I can ugly myself to death....hmmmmmmm. Well here are a few of the poems I wrote this weekend. Thanks for the spelling lesson Kasey, I'm not that sharp. The Phoenix South was the bar we went to. Nice band but the gals there were scrawny as hell. Only 2-4 women worth lookin at. I'm gonna post to one of my groups now so enjoy or don't, as you please.
My True Family
True family knows how to make it all better
They cry when you cry and celebrate good times
Feeling you for who you have been and are now
Loving no matter the choices you make, good or bad
Family comforts in times of sorrow to ease your soul
They help you decide what is best for you to know
Complete a cycle of emotions fraught with erradica
Relax in their company and let you spill your heart
Judging not but compelling honesty and truth
Blood does not have to be common to know true family
Give you advice of sage quality for self information
Ideas spread between you to learn and contemplate
Always there to help or to hide you from the world
Safe haven in the storms that do come in life
Comfortable and soothing always concerned for your best
True family loves you no matter what may come or go.

Alive
Inhale the vapors and quest through reality anew
The scent overpowers your mind frees it instead
A driving force that propels you onward to a height
Succumb to its tantalizing energies sweet and tender
The hopps was ripe and barley fermented to taste
They flowed inside to alleviate a knot so very tight
Swirl your mind around in a fishbowl going nowhere
Enjoying the ride to get there immensely wondering
Music blares in over ranges of sound and light
Follow the beat and tap or sway to percussions
Loud but not annoying ringing in your head a fog
Bodies moving in time gyrations so sensually done
Do not let this end for it may never start again
Keep me in my familial company woes dissipated
Happier moments unseen in periods lost in thought.

Phoenix South
Music drowns out conscious thought
Waves crashing in the tunes superb
Bodies move in time and stimulate a lusting so hard
Decibels cover ranges of hearing so that little escapes
Hear the band and enjoy the flow hoping no end in sight
Jump the bar sticks of flesh gyrate to the beat
Booze flows freely enticing inhibitions to depart
Young and older they flock to the scene as witness
Debauchery is served cold in cups and bottles of ice
Gaming is beheld as fancy to those novice and expert
Follow the lines to relief of pressure unimaginable
Intoxicated we go about our drunken business enjoyed
A fall from grace is no moment here disgrace is unheard
Exposed flesh lights lust like bonfires in hearts of many
A curve, a swish and no man can resist temptations
Consciences go by the wayside replaced by frivolity
Enjoy a night on the town for regrets may come tomorrow.

Dance in Fire
Whirling around to the beat of a different drummer
Rest is a thought not acted upon for there is none
Suppress what you feel is unending motion constant
Fatigue wears you down but the flames rise higher
Heat spurs you on to new movements erratically
Life must be endured and dealt with firmly by hand
The fire pushes you onward to where you know not
Adventures encountered bring sweet rewards
Pain is not an option but brought through the mists of mind
Frantically swaying to left and right steps unknown
There was no heat in the early times after birth
But growing brings misery and stirs the flames alight
Do not quit or surrender to the abysmal ending
Dance in fire to burn away the afterthoughts
You can not kill time till time and tides are no more.
